Adding a few more?

Ok so right now in my 55 I currently have 13 african cichlids including:
yellow lab, 1 male 1 female
red peacock, 2 male 1 female
black calvus, 1 male 2 female
"aurore pombo" (thats what the LFS calls em), 2 male 1 female
Cynotilapia afra chinuni, 1 male 1 female

The smaller male aurore pombo and peacock get picked on by the larger male of the same species. As far as I know adding more females should help, my question is do they have to be of the exact same species? Or could I get more yellow lab and any other peacocks?

adding females of the same species will probably be best. adding females of another species really wont help the others.

Should I be concerned about the size of the new fish? because the ones I currently have are just over a year old.

BTW there are 3 Cynotilapia afra chinuni fry about 1.5cm, kind of hoping they're all females.

if you grow the fry up and they turn out to be females well if the orginal male is still alive. just saying ----> inbreeding after a while causes deformities such as no tails.:eek:
but should be fine:)

Breeding between different groups will not cause deformities.
