View Full Version : Anyone know what this is????
Spotted this the other morning before lights came on. It seems to disappear during the day and only come out in the dark. Anyone know what it is?

bad mate...deal with it as you would aiptasia...squirt with boiling water, joe's juice etc etc..
Niko
apparently joes juice doesn't work with these things

my understanding is that aiptasia control products do work for these...as does covering with kalk paste, injecting with a kalk solution.
You can actually try and remove these with tweezers as they usually release clean unlike aiptasia's...
I've heard they are more difficult to get rid of as well. Same methods as Nikko said, just have to really diligent.
So do you recommend trying joes juice for this as I have about 3 other things that look similar but without the the same markings, thses are clear with short tenticles
Would a peppermint get rid of these? The problem I have here though is a I have a mated pair of boxer shrimp in my tank.
I've been informed by some other people on another forum that this maybe a jewel or club anemone, any opions?

Yes, i would give it a shot yes, its dirt cheap to buy..the others are more than likely aiptasia rather than jajano..

Peppermints dont really go for majano nems, other methods do need to be used mate..
