What I want for Xmas .... for everyone to do one of the following:

1. Donate clothes, food, personal care items, or even toys to a local charity (any).
OR
2. Donate time to someone in need, whether they know them or not ( an elderly neighbor, a young parent, a homeless shelter, a women's shelter, a crisis nursery).

And finally for all of us to realize that if we are on a computer participating in any forum - we are blessed with the ability to read, the comfort of some type of housing, and enough $ to afford to have and be on a computer :)

Totally agree, S.A. This year for the first time we're not exchanging gifts with our generation of my in-laws (combination of too much stuff, cost of gas, one of the families just had a new baby...), and I gave money I would have spent on gifts to a friend whose husband just left her and their 4 children, the youngest a newborn.
