has anyone seen the site at saltreef.com? he has suggestions on starting a reef system and i thought some of you might have seen it and have any thoughts....

Without knowing specifics of what you're looking for, it's kind of hard to help...There are lots of good webpages, and lots with not-so-good advice. Learn to rate the quality of the page by the following criteria: Do they explain WHY as well as HOW? For example, I can tell you to use RO water, but without knowing why, it's pretty unhelpful. Is it logical? Can I find references for this information? What experience does the author have, and is it relevant? For example--someone with 20 years of experience with FW tanks isn't a good resource for SW--they don't have the experience, and book reading only gets you so far.
