That's Great! How long and how did you do the cycle? I just filled a 55 up last night and am trying to decide what to do.

Did you use any filter media from another tank? That's what I am doing. I don't know how much this speeds things up.
I hope quick. I have a pair of angles on stand by for me at my lfs!:grinyes::grinyes::grinyes:

Good to hear you're cycled!
You might consider getting some MTS (malaysian trumpet snails) for the sand to keep it from compacting. Thats some deep sand!

the sand and new light look a LOT better than before... i also like the strip of gravel in the middle... it may sound weird, but it adds a nice touch IMO....
are those live plants or artificial? that's the only thing i could recommend... more plants, and possibly a couple of bigger fish... but that's just me... layout, however, is very nice.... oh yeah, a background of sorts, to hide the hoses and wires...

If that's a PC fixture (230W/4=65W - I'm guessing it's a 4x65W Coralife?), you're going to wat to elevate it a few inches (or plan on buying a new top - they get HOT).
