Hi everyone! I just can't stop reading every forum here, there is so much great information and I am so glad to have found this site. I have 2 fish, an Oranda (as you can see) and a pleco. I've had them for several years. They are in a 10 gallon now, and will be moving into their new 55 gallon next week. I'm sure they will be thrilled, as will I.
Can someone please tell me the type of pleco he (she?) is:
I've tried looking at the sites listed on the forums here to identify him, and my head just spins. I'm like "oh, he looks like that one" then a second later, "well, he looks more like that one", then "he kinda looks like that one, only mine is darker", and it just goes on and on.
Thanks for your help, and I'll take pictures when the new tank is ready and they are happily in their new home!
edited to add that the pleco does have a place to hide in plants at the other side of the tank, I just didn't take a picture. I could only coax him out to get his picture taken when i dropped a carrot in there for him...
