Hello all,
My first time to venture over to the saltwater side of things. I currently have a 55g south american cichlid tank, and want to go saltwater eventually. I plan to go all out and build my own SW setup 75 gallons or so, however I am not where in a house where i will be spending many years (i.e. not married yet!) and i surely do not want to hassle with moving that kind of setup to a new house. plus this is giving me the time to start saving a few thousand dollars so i can get it all at once and not have to piece it together over time. So im going to start small. I want to put a 24 gal nano cube in my bedroom, and my girlfriend will be getting me one for Christmas so id like to know what im doing before hand for obvious reasons.
Id like to have an active reef and 3-5 basic saltwater fish nothing too crazy.
Basically im looking for anybody who can give me a review, or any knowledge/advice about the tank. Also, substrate/fish/invert recommendations, or maybe point me in the direction of a site with good advice setting up a SW tank.
Thanks!
