I wanna do a cichlid tank in my 45G Tall, but it seems like my stocking choices will be limited because of size, I really like the german blue rams? should i just get a few of them ro somehitng? This will be my first time keeping cichlids that arent angels.

depends on the footprint of the tank..but generally tall fish benefit with a tall tank.

what are the dimensions of the tank??

^ exactly - tank dimensions are important here. with enough lenght you could consider some mbuna. A particularly tall tank with less foot print would indicate Angels are your best bet. If your tank is not an odd shape rams are certainly doable.

Thing is though, if your referring to the 45G in your signature, you shouldn't add more to the fish that are already in there.

the thing is, i have a 45 gallon with 6 angels, and i am going to move thm into a 75 gallong that is 21"Tall oppesoed the the 45G 24" tall theyre in now, i could def have nice african chchlids in the 75, but i think i kind of need to put the angels into the 75 gallon, so im looking for somehitng to do with the 45G in my livivng room..

You could try a trio of blue rams (1 male and 2 females) and move the angelfish to the 75g. Do you have any more fish in your 75g or is this empty of fish at the moment? I would suggest getting rid of the iridescent shark as a heads up to keep you away from future trouble.

festivum are pretty cool also and will get to 4-5 inches long.
