Do people put power heads in their cichlid tanks? If so,,,why?,,,what do they do exactly?,,,and how do they help the fish? Just curious,,thought I saw one in couple of pictures, but I really have no idea what they do..

I have powerheads in all my tanks. They circulate water, to prevent dead spots and africans love to swim in the current.

What about americans,,,,a JD for example,,does the water flow bother them or do they like it?
