I have a reg old 10 gal set up with a pair of mollies. I would like to try my hand a breeding shrimp. now sure what kind but I love the cherry shrimp ( i think that is what they are called)
Any suggestions on whare are the easiest shrimp to breed and raise?
More tanks can be added if necessary. Hubby built a couple of shelves to house 10 gallon tanks on.

Cherries are the easiest, and are available in the standard red color, yellow, and clear/white varieties that I'm aware of.

Make sure the shelves are sturdy. 10 gallons of water weighs 80 lbs.

That man does make anything that isnt sturdy.
he knew what I was going to be putting on them so he made them very sturdy.
I like the red ones.
Is there a good post to read abotu their care and breeding them?

cherry shrimp to start with might want to move on to other kinds once you get the hang of it. its really not that hard.
