I am putting my tiger oscar in a 72 gallon bowfront. Can the 72 accomodate a common pleco? I posted this on the general freshwater too. Can I add any other tankmates?

I would generally just stay away from common plecos... although the name "common" can refer to a couple different species, most end up being the 2ft long poop machines that dont really do anything. JMO but Id just keep the oscar in there :)

I believe, from his post in general FW, the pleco he is speaking of is a potential rescue.. not something he plans to bye for personnal preferance.

i found a local fish store to take the pleco, but thanks :-)
