Very very very nice. :headbang2:
Q
Your 90 has similarities to my 75 and this is the first I'm seeing your tanks. I also have a log jutting up in the middle and a stump at the end to hide accessories.

Thanks.
The 90 is fairly new and needs a lot of growing yet. I was away for 6 weeks and the tank was green (I mean GREEN). Just got over that and added another XP2 for filtration. Both tanks use overdriven T-8 6700K bulbs. The strange part is that I use only 2 overdriven 32 watt T-8's and 1 40 normal output T12 on the 75 gallon. Only 2 overdriven 32 watt T-8's on the 90. Seems like low light but if I turn all the lights on I get algae like crazy and the plants do great with this lighting.

I particularly like the aquascaping on the the 75g. Nice "forest edge" effect, while leaving plenty of swimming and viewing room in the center foreground.

By the way, what's your right-foreground plant? The one that looks like a carpet of long grass?

I actually planted E. acicularis (so I thought) but I really think it is E. parvulus or some other sub-species. All I know is that without co2 it will never look good because BBA seems to take over. I find it takes lots of light to get it going (and then there are other problems). But once it takes root it is a "growing concern" and light can be cut back. I only run my tanks (hard to tell because I overdrive my NO flourescents) at about 1.5 - 2 WPG. It is probably one of THE most pruned plants in my tanks to keep it from overtaking the whole bottom.

I love your tanks! Man I wish i was as beast as you in aquascaping!
Do you trim you hair grass i believe? in the 75g. That would be cool if they made mini aquarium lawn mowers.

I can imagine a cory riding around on a miniaturized mower.

I do trim the grass once in a while. It can be a real pain in the butt though. As far as the mini lawn movers are concerned I was actually thinking of trying to build something to cut the grass and java moss. I want it to syphon out the cuttings as it is cut so it keeps the little pieces from floating all over the tank.

Something like a Flobie? LOL. If you figure it out you could make a fortune!
Both beautiful but I love the 90, especially the plant perching on the tip of the driftwood.
