View Full Version : African Cichlid ID please
Can someone ID this Cichlid for me. I've looked on this site and over the net can't seem to find it.
The color is powder blue. There is a white rim on the outside of all fins. Just inside of the white there is a thin dark line parallel to the white rim.

I've have never attempted to upload a photo from my computer when posting pics to this site, I've just use photobucket and copy/paste the IMG code into the text field of the post.

^^Same here. Try using photobucket.com and upload the pics there. Then just post the IMG link and the pic will show up. Its easy and works for all forums. :D

Hi,
I am no expert but I think it could be a Maylandia callainos (cobalt blue) from the Mbuna group of africans.

They are Cobalt Blues (Metriaclima Callainos). They should not be kept with angels (Only with other mbuna), and should be kept in a tank 55 gallons or larger.
