When I was purchasing Live Rock from a guy in town that was breaking down his tank he had a white hard type of something (claimed to be a coral) that had grown all over one of his rocks. It looked pretty cool and he said it spreaded quickly over the rock he had put it on. He even had a small frag he had broken off. On some of the rocks I got from him it appears to have a small growth pattern that is similiar. It just looks like small white dot sections all over the rock. Any type of coral this might fit? When it was fully covering his rock it was almost like a white candy type covering but was hard.
