i got the algae free 1600 maxi-jet upgrade and the flow is great and the instalation is easy, but every one in a while it makes a buzzing noise. i imagine its the impeller hitting the cage. does anyone know ow to stop this annoying noise?

The only time when mine make any noise is when they are spinning the wrong direction. You may have to trim the impeller stopper a little bit if it is hitting it(impeller) while going in the right direction. Are you confused yet? Any problems I can try and help.
