i'm interested in getting some ramshorns for my tank. if anyone has an excess amount and wants to get rid of them i'll be happy to pay for shipping if you live in the U.S.A.
 
awesome! i've never done anything like this before......how exactly do i pay shipping?
 
You do for pomacea bridgesii, aka mystery snails or brigs. For common ponds, ramshorns and MTS you don't. Pomacea canaliculata, aka apple snails or canas,can't be shipped between states at all. I don't think Marisas or Columbian Ramshorns can either, but not sure on that. I don't keep them because they eat plants so I'm not up on them.

also spixi snails cannot be shipped across state lines without a permit...and the permits are basically impossible to get..for brig snails its pretty easy to get a permit
