Just making sure before I purchase these shrimp that I will not have a problem. I have zebra danio (3), cardinal tetra (6), dwarf rainbow (1) and blue ram (1).
I'd expect most, if not all, the shrimp to get eaten.

As long as you have alot of cover for them (moss or dense plants) you will have survivors that reproduce. but your fish will try to eat the juvie shrimp.

If you get them, try to release them around whatever cover you have. I just let them out of the net at the top and half were snacks before they could hit the bottom.
Oh, and if you have dense cover, you may not see a sign of shrimp for a month or so, until after they start breeding. Let us know how it turns out if you get them! I love the idea of having shrimp in a tank. I've got a 6 gallon with yellow shrimp, and I'm starting to see the teenie shrimplets -- very cute!

Thanks all for the input. I guess I will skip on the shrimp and get some MTS. Id rather not feed my fish such nice shrimp.

i agree with this...... i have cherry shrimp with angels and they live. just give the lots of places to hide.
still your best bet would be a shrimp tank then move them over to the others.

You can do what I'm doing. if you have an extra 10g around put them in there until you have many more, and then try to introduce them into your other tank, and if they don't survive, you have many more
