My ramshorn snail laid a ton of eggs on one of my fake plants, is there anything i should do? do i just let them sit there? I thought a lot of them laid eggs out of the water, are these viable? i help me out guys.

They'll lay them where they think is best, or so I've heard. Just leave them be for now. Or you could gently scrape them off (or even break the leaf where they are) and move them to a bowl with some tank water in it if you're afraid your fish will get them. You'd probably need to change the water often to keep it from getting stagnant, though.

Apple and mystery snails are the ones that lay eggs out of the water.

yup, ramshorn lay their eggs in the water... I have never bothered to move them or even give them a second glance and they are plentiful in my tanks. Alot of mystery snails lay their eggs above the water line but even some species of apple snail lay their eggs in the water.

how long until they may hatch?????????

I am not sure, typically when I notice new ones is a couple of weeks after I have seen eggs, it may be sooner though. They got introduced to my tank on plants and they showed up about 2 weeks after the plants did. Hope that helps.
