I dont personaly feel any type of aquarium system is hard if you aer willing to put in the time to research and learn before starting it..

NikoI agree, but going on the sheer volume of knowledge you must learn and time you must commit to properly maintain it, im going to say a reef SW tank is the most difficult type of tank.

DOH....looked at thread properties...you did..........BUT.......IT still showed up as CL - Coldwater.......so...is this ANOTHER typo by you DD???...lol

I found that my SW tank took way more research than my fw/bw tanks did to set up, and I'm still trying to get everything dialed in. Once I get all the params to where they need to be I don't think it will be any harder than any of my other tanks, but I would say from a first-timer perspective. sw/reef is a lot more time consuming up front than the other two. Not necessarily hard persay, as none of it (except the hit on my disposable income anyway) is particularly difficult, just requires more attention and work.

freshwater is the REAL hard thing.. that's why you see so many people doing saltwater.. they can't handle the freshy stuff ;)
