Clown fish help please

Commonly, there are a few differnet variants of clowns that people keep in their aquariums..Here is s quick run down of their names...

• Ocellaris Clownfish - Amphiprion ocellaris
• True Percula Clownfish - Amphiprion percula
• Maroon Clownfish - Premnas biaculeatus
• Yellowstripe Maroon Clownfish - Premnas biaculeatus
• Tomato Clownfish - Amphiprion frenatus
• Sebae Clownfish - Amphiprion sebae

Generally, mising clown fish in smaller tanks is not good because they will be a little defensive over their territory..Large tanks like 60 odd plus you can get away with it a little more...

How big they grow is all depending on their type, anything up to around 4 inches or more..

Around here Nemo is A. percula (although the external visual differences between A. percula and A. ocellaris can be quite subtle), but I guess that sort of depends on what store you go to and say you'd like to buy fish like Nemo.

Black and white clowns are a color variant of A. ocellaris. We have a pair of them and they are great. A bit more expensive than their orange and white cousins, but very cool nonetheless. They even host in our frogspawn and hammer corals.
