I'm going to set up a 10 gal are thier any ciclids that don't like to dig? I've heard people keeping rams kribs. Are these my only options.
Thats for any suggestions and I'm sure I'm not spelling that right.

I would not say that rams don't dig..mine do (altispinosa)
but a 10 is really too small for rams.

I agree^^^
Mine dont dig but I have gravel...I think they would in sand
go for shellies (shelldwellers)...they are smaller fish from lake tanganyika that have absolutely great peronsalities

My multies have created a nice sand pile...but I would rather have them than plants...just my preference :)
If space and money aren't an issue, buy the biggest tank you can afford.:) A 20 long however can hold blue rams, kribs and bolivian rams but keep only one species and a pair at that.

Setting the 10 gal for a grow out tank for plants from my 29 gal, just wanted to add a fish or two. The women wants me to start keeping cichlids again. I've had oscars, jewels, arutis and a few others before and know they like to digand are usaly on the large size, just though maybe someone knew of one that wouldn't dig so much and be small enough.
