I have a pre-lit plastic one.... its nice, but ive always wanted to keep a small spruce as a living tree year round, and then decorate it when chrsitmas comes around.

mine are always real,,i can;t help it, maybe when i get older, i will have my own little 3 foot fake tree.

Don't have to worry about a fire hazard.
No dropped needles.
No fungus in the house.
No watering.
No killing of an oxygen generating plant.
No disposal issue for many many years.
I can keep it out as many days as I want.
Always looks good.
Paid for itself as compared to buying a new real tree in just 4 years.
