Sand diameter

I bought caribsea .5-1.0mm diameter sand. I am reading that some sand sifters need thin sand.. Is this a good thickness of sand? or should i have purchased something thinner? I haven't really even gotten to thinking about stocking yet.. just trying to get my equipment setup..

Thats your normal reef grade sugar fine sand size grains to be honest..more than adequate for sand sifters....Burrowers on the other hand do like a larger grain of sand..
