At first, I wanted to watch the Golden Compass movie, but in the end, I learned that it's bad for you.

The Golden Compass is bad for you because in the end, it's killing GOD (even though he's immortal).
Then I heard of this movie called August Rush about some boy who is taken away from his parents and he believes that music would bring him and his parents back together. It looks like a good movie.

The movie "Pirates of the Caribbean, At Worlds End" is out on DVD and I got it for my birthday Thursday. It was pretty good, but there is a gross part in it that you don't want to watch is if your under 16 years of age, and I'm 12 years old.
Will Turner dies in the end, then comes back by his father cutting out his heart (like Davy Jones who cut out his heart).
Jack Sparrow comes back (I'm pretty sure you all know that). Out of all of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, I think that the 1st one is the best.:) Wouldn't you agree?:o

Whenever you want to talk about movies in a forum it is best if you warn people in the first line of your post that you may spoil the movie for them if they read on. It's called a "spoiler alert" and is considered common courtesy. Start out your post this way instead of with a movie ending and you'll have more friends I guarantee.

Now with that aside The Golden Compass is a must see for me.

There are so many movies out right now that I just can't read all the reviews to make any decisions as to which I want to see. So many good ones come out this time of year. It's the Oscar rush.

I liked 1408, although it's probably not appropriate for any one under 16. :grinyes:

I now pronounce you Chuck and Larry is really funny. Defiently not appropriate for anyone under 17. LOL
