well i finally folded under the pressure and scratched the idea of an african butterfly fish in a 15 gallon. instead i am getting a betta, 4-6 cories, 3-4 african dwarf frogs.. does this sound good? i am buying the betta tomorrow so what are some signs for a healthy betta since they dont swim around at the store. can i also add tetras or is that overstocked?? thanks

It sounds fine. I really can't comment over the frogs as I never kept them however assuming these are not predatory, I'd try some black phantom tetras or lemon tetras there. None of them are nippy. Make sure the tank where the betta is very clean as this will guarantee minimal possibilities of health issues.

Frogs would be fine. I have 3 in my 20g and they just chill on the bottom, occasionally coming up for air. Like Mgamer said, they have poor eyesight. Mine mistake each other for food all the time. One will grab the other ones leg and they freak out because they think its food. Oh, they eat their shedding skin too! :)

ADF's eat the tubeflex worms and blood worms. I wasn't able to get mine to eat shrimp pellets.
