View Full Version : Are my fish diseased?

Most of the fish in my 55, every one but my angel, seem to have what looks almost like a green crust above their eyes. Has anyone else ever seen this? Any idea what it might be? :help:

can you provide a pic?
what are your water parameters?
how long has the tank been set up?
any new additions recently?

Tank has been running for about 4 months now.
Added two juv. gold rams over the weekend. These were purchased from a vendor that I have never had an issue with in over a decade of keeping fish. They had the rams in stock for over a week and a half prior to purchase... they appeared in perfect health at that time.
I currently have three gold rams, and a pair of mollies that exhibit this condition. Yes, I know they are not compatible long term tank mates... it is temporary. My angel is the one fish in the tank that does not show this odd discoloration.
Water params: 0,0,0,<20
Why the three zeros? Zero nitrates? I was under the impression it's the <20.

If it matters PH is nuetral to slightly less than 7.0.

Got it. I would wait for pictures though before I make my own diagnosis.
