have trouble with there blue rams eating their shrimp? it seems like my gbr's keep nibbling at my shrimp just enough to stress them out and kill them. should i get rid of the gbr's? i really would rather keep the shrimp.
I find rams fine with C. japonica but with dwarf shrimp like cherry they will kill them, its just their nature.

i totally agree ^. I am going to try and get a 10 gallon off craigslist soon and start one. but i really want to have some in my corner tank in my room (because they are fun to watch). so i think the rams are going to be moved, either to my 55 or to someone who can care for them better.

do you have alot of plants or cover int he corner tank? my cherries are with gourami and barbs and have filled 2 10g with their offspring, of course they are much more active and visible in my invert only tanks

yeah they have plenty of places to hide in my driftwood (I just put my plants in 4 days ago, and not much plant cover yet). but for some reason they kept out in the open. and the gbr would just nibble at them once or twice and they would roll over and just die. it's happened twice now.
