i was told by a professional catfish breeder that the palaeutus and aneus (not sure how they are spelled) are two cory species that will breed in a tank easily without their spawning needing to be triggered. is this true? i bought 3 peppered coried but 2 died. im thinking if they breed easily, to buy a bunch more. anyone have any info or experiences?

Peppereds are supposed to be the easiest to breed- condition them on high protein and live foods, put in a breeding tank and drop the temperature 5 or 6 degrees with a large water change.

That's the theory anyway- the only corys I've bred are Brochis and they did it on their own whilst in quarantine, with no credit from me.
