Planning on getting one, or a Honda Insight (used, of course) for commuting to work. The usual highway mpg on our Honda Odysseys is only 26-28mpg, with 19 routinely in the city. If it is just me driving without the kids, I can do better with a much lighter and smaller car.
I miss my 1986 Honda CRX HF. 48mpg city, 51mpg or better when i kept it to the highway. Sold it with 175,000 miles elapsed, compression on all four cylinders still in the middle of the factory spec for a new engine. Other than regular fluid and spark plug changes, that car never asked for anything. Wish I could buy a car from the "Big Three" that could do that.
