My cories don't really go for the algae wafers, and they probably need something more than that since they are omnivorous. Maybe you could give them some live food like worms? That's supposed to be less polluting than many of the prepared foods. Mine also like some of the sinking "complete fish food" tablets. I think mine might be from Tetra. They are basically just compressed flake tablets that will sink.

Mine love spirulina tablets. I feed them those once a week. The first time they weren't so impressed with them but then they learned to like them. I also have sinking shrimp tablets for them.

Mine eat flake foods that fall to the bottom. EDIT: I force some of the flakes to the bottom just so they get their "fair share" of food!

I also feed my cories worms every once and a while but flakes and algae tablets are their "main" interests.

I looked last night, and the food tablets that I have been using are by Nutrafin. Not Tetra. Sorry about the mix up.

I feed mine Freeze dried blood worms, sinking shrimp pellets and whatever flake foods come down from the guppies.
