New cichlid I saw need info.

I a cichlid that had the body shape as a green terror but the colored like a jewl. The name started with boc. can anyone identify this fish?

Possibly a bocourti, its either a Vieja or Herichthys.

Did the body shape resemble the bocourti or was it definity an Aequidens sp?

the body shape resembles the Aequidens but the anal and dorsal fins extended to the middle of the caudal (tail) fin. I just want to know what kind it is and and all of the info on it. Thanks for the help. I might have to get the latin name.

Blue Aequidens- Im stumped, all I can think of is a Blue acara
Latin name would solve all problems.

The reason why they looked like jewels is because they were. one of the girls that works at my LFS brought her jewels in and didn’t change the name on the tank. Sorry for the wild goose chase scott-kim but thanks for your help.
