hood/canopy options

can a use a glass canopy from perfecto - http://www.aquariumguys.com/glass-canopy.html
will i be able to put my heater/filter/powerhead in through this hood or is it all closed up in the back?
also anyone have any cheep ideas for a hood/canopy light - i need a couple for 30" tanks - thanks tim

I have a glass canopy on my 65 gal. It came with plastic extenstions that you add in the back of the canopy, so I measured and cut out the plastic exactly the size of my heater, filter etc..

Ya I use perfecto glass tops on a few of my tanks. I just buy a single strip light to put over them.
