fauchea sp.

Hello all just wondering if anyone has any info on fauchea sp. ?
It's a red plating type macro algae. I've searched everywhere but no good info around. It's growing in spots in my tank and I was wondering how bad or good it is and what eats it?

thats how I figured out what it was but all i got was an Id doesnt seem to be bothering anything but it makes little tufts in the sand and i gotta keep takin em out looks nice on the rocks though ill post a pic later
