Bleached Eco-Complete

I wouldn't do it, I doubt you'd get all the bleach out when you rinse it
unless you don't plan on keeping fish, and only plants??

Free used eco-complete. So I'd like to bleach it to make sure I don't get anything bad.

I plan on keeping fish and shrimp with the plants. I figured a lot of soaking in water and excess amounts of dechlorinator would work to get rid of all the bleach.

TBH its a really stupid idea, why not just sit it out in the sun for a few days ?

You could use a 10% bleach solution if you wanted to. You would just have to wait and let it dry out completely (bleach evaporates). It would probably take a long time until it was completely dry.

thanks for the tip but its just too much trouble i think. btw, i tried to reply to your PM to me the other day. says you dont accept PMs.
