Agreed, except the yellow lab might not be a hybrid, it's showing a little barring which should vanish as the fish grows.

Yes, a Rusty, A Yellow Lab (I am also thinking purebreed), and a Metriaclima Greshakei. All little babies. What size tank?

#2 on the other page looks scared. You're not standing there with a camera in one hand and a fork in the other, are you?

Yes. They both appear to be males (They are young, I could be wrong). Of couse the dominant one would display a better coloring than a female/sub-dominant male.

when i say coloring i was referring to the fish showing darker blue stripes, and in this case either it just didnt show due to the bright flash or it just lost some color?! dont know.. so hard to catch them in the right position and make them stay there for a few seconds until you get a picture.. Though the cool thing with the africans is that they follow your finger like crazy lol

Could be showing stripes because it is less dominant that the other or because it is stressed.

yea noticed that in the store when i was picking some out, especially out of the blue ones, some had deeper stripes and now you can barely see them. Got any pics of yours???

Its okay. Heaters hidden now and thermometers gone. I dont like things like these in the open.
