i want to keep a double full red cockatoo and an orange cockatoo and a ruby and german blue ram all together in a 30 gallon. will they get along ok? i have done my research on sizes and they all get like 3 inches max....so they would be the only fish in there with lots of decorations to hide in. so will they leave each other alone? i have a 55 gallon african cichlid tank so i know the difference between playing and aggression and what it looks like...im just double checking my research against experience! thanks! could i have any clean up crew in there? if so what kind is good? any water quality suggestions? i have hard water and 7.5 ph in my tap

Do you have a pair of cacatuoides?
what do you mean by "and a ruby", is that a ram?

not sure the lfs guy just said he was a ruby. and all of them would be juvies. so they say there is no way to tell if i get a pair. i was just hoping for all males so i could a very pretty tank.

I believe Ruby Rams are Bolivians.

I would stick to 1 pair of Apistos or Rams (either Blues or Bolivians). Keeping 4 different dwarf cichlids together in a 30g can't work out too well IMO.
