I am turning my 90 GL into a Reef. I bought a 30 gl breeder, that I turned into the fuge. I want to show it because there is so much life and so much fun watching. I am trying to figure out what are some of the best creatures to put in it.

I was thinking...

Nerite Snails

One guy told me about his buddy that had 2 harlequin shrimp in his that he fed a chocolate chip Starfish to once every 2 weeks.

Maybe sea horses

What is the best and most useful animals? What would be fun to look at? What would cause me trouble.

Also, since I have to keep the light on what will stress out? I am using a low blue light bulb. Any problems there?

Obvious question but let me ask it anyhow...are you willing to accept that seahorses, fish, etc. will eat the pods from the fuge?

Yea I hear, you. I will take that into consideration. Will horses deplete the fuge to the point copopods won't reproduce?

What will eat all the trash in the fuge?

yeah, I've seen seahorses go crazy over pods in their tank

What kind of trash are you wanting to be eaten? The detrius? Algae? Are you wanting a DSB? Bare bottom?

Pods will help eat the deitrus. For algae grow macro algae to compete for nutrients.

The problem you'll have with horses, from what I understand, is that most species like the water colder than a reef is kept. Like ~70 degrees, when a reef is generally ~80 degrees.
