Start looking for that 55+ gallon tank.

55 is a big jump and i love the table its on.. its about 41" x 16"
even a bowfront would be nice.
any suggestions?

I was indicating that the 29 is too small. A 55 can comfortably house 10-15 mbuna. Your fish will get too big and be too aggressive for a 29 gallon.

Ok. In that case, I'll be on the look-out for a larger tank..

this 50-gallon looks like a nice choice and it would fit.

Yes, that is a nice tank, but the price is not very nice. Im sure a 40 gallon breeder tank should fit that stand. Its not a 55, but its better than a 29.

is it a 50 gallon long? becasue the foot print is better than a 55 coz of the 48" by 18" by 13 height rather than 21" height which is not needed.

If you're not too concerned about having new or used tanks, check out craigslist.org and search for tanks there... sometimes people have to move and can't take their tanks with them so they post them up on craigslist. They are usually much much cheaper.
