Hi there everyone. Thought I would register for this forum in case I had anything interesting to share or questions to ask. I am a new petcare specialist at one of the big retail chains (yes, one of the ones that starts with "Pet".) I work in the fish, reptile, small animal department. I am a mid-life career changer and work where I do not for the money (believe me) but because it's fun and interesting (unlike most other jobs I've had in the past). I am sure I will have many questions to ask as I go along both at work (training leaves something to be desired) and at home. I just started up a 55 gallon aquarium 2 weeks ago with 3 cheap comet goldfish for my kids. They want to keep fancy goldfish once the tank is cycled. I would have chosen a tropical tank myself but doing it for the boys. Those active little comets are kind of growing on me though. Fun, simple fish. Anyway, that's a brief rundown on me.
