What size tank are you considering putting in the non-plant eater?
Are you looking for an algae cleaner upper? or what do you want out of the fish?

CAE's cannot be placed in a 10 gallons. Despite being slow growers, they still have the potential to reach more than 6 inches and need plenty of swimming space. These are not community fish on another note. They don't eat plants but juvenile CAE's eat algae and will possibly lose their appetite for it as they mature.

Whenever it comes to SAE's and CAE's http://www.thekrib.com/Fish/Algae-Eaters/ is often mentioned and indicates a CAE at 11" max but typically 6" in an aquarium. I had mine for only about a year and it was at the 5" mark. I'd still like to see a pic of a 10 incher... thats huge :omg:
