plant growth?

Im not a pro at this stuff but here we go
Ferts can be from micro to macro nutrients which provide the plant necessary elements to grow. The one everyone focuses on is Nitrogen, Phosphate and Potassium. Others also add different necessary metals.

The co2 it depends on how much light you have, how many plants and your tank size. If your tank is small then you can go ahead and try the diy co2 injections. If your tank is bigger then theres pressurized co2.

the light fixture you should use.. well thats hard to tell since i dont know what fish tank you are talking about (gallons wise) and what plants you want to grow.

(again im no pro at this.. this is just the info i caught on to here and there)

what were the measurements you used for each component?
whats the bottle size?
what kind of water did you use, hot/cold/room temp??
check that theres no gas seeping through the hole you made at the caps

for the stone you can use a regular stone but if you want try a wooden, with it you will get a finer mist of bubbles. You can place under your filter or your filters intake.

edit: how long of a tubing did you use?
What level are you keeping the bottle compared to the airstone?
