When a BTA splits it can be do to health reasons. What are your parameters, size of tank, type of lighting and how long has the tank been setup

nitrate =0
nitrite 12.5
am=0
ph=8.4
cal 500+ bit high i know
sanity 1.026
lighting = mh 150 watt 8 hours per day

tank 120Gal setup for little under 1 year
water temp=82

Ammonia and Nitrates are zero and Nitrites are 12.5 if so that can be the reason since trites are bad in a reef, are you sure its not trites zero and trates 12.5???

how did you acclimate it? what is your lighting?

Personally, no matter how close the measurements in the store's water of Ph and salinity are to my own tank's, I take over 45 minutes with even a hardy fish, much longer with something a lot more sensitive such as an anemone
