People say that this is a good Idea but is it truely a good Idea? also I See Jeff Rapps name passed around this site in good manners. Has anyone ordered fish from him and how were your results? Also Im not very far from Where he lives according to his website. Do you think if I called him do you think we could meet up at some point to help me prevent shipping price?

Many people have ordered from him. He has amazing cichlids.

Here is the site you can look into.

Jeffs the man! I buy one or two fish from him every month or so. all but 3 cichlids that i have, have come from him in one way or anther. great guy goes the extra mile. Ive never had a bad fish shipped or a bad packing job. www.tangledupincichlids.com

fishnmusic, click on my signature. the guy that runs the site is a friend of mine as well as a good friend of Jeff Rapps of tangledupinCichlids. He lives in the Wilkes-barre are. He would know if their were any shops worth looking at.

My fish from Rapps are awesome! He returned all of my emails (about ten of them) and the fish were in great shape (other than one festae that seems to have a birth defect of no pectoral fin, its still has great color and eats like a horse, just swims a little funny). Even my wild eartheaters ate within six hours of being in a new tank, I have never even had a pet store fish eat the same day it was in a tank. All in all a 95% just because of that fin thing (I named it lefty and actually I think I am going to get a 125 just for it, it has the most guts out of the whole bunch:) )

With All the good Cooments I would Love to see His setup and all his Fish. He sounds like he is beyond pro with all the comments everybody is given. Jeef Seems like he cares more about quality than quanity and that is very hard to find anymore. Did Anybody ever Buy Blue Jacks Off Him?

He doesn't do walkin unless they are his friends.

Trust us. When we said that he is beyond pro...we meant beyond. He even wrote some articles on some Cichlids.

I've just gotten an email from him...for Blue Dempsey and Carpintis. I know Carpintis are pretty common, but I just can't find that at LFS. So I ordered from him. Now I just have to wait for the total of the shipping cost. Then I can have my fishy. Yippy!

He also just sent me a list of updated fish he has on hands. They are sure rare to find. I think I will need to save up money to buy another tank just to collect some cool fish from Jeff Rapps. Too bad Geophagus Balzani is out. Or I would love to order one from him. That fish is beautiful.

I live in Louisiana and ordered a pair of Corporas and 6 P. Motaguense which are F1s and the real "red tiger". The delivery was on time and the fish were packaged very professional. Like some others have said, Jeff is the man.
