That my oscars have paired off? After the sick oscar scare I had I've been watching the tank like a hawk. I've begun to notice that my oscars have been moving as one. Where one goes the other follows. They have even taken over my Female green terror out of her breeding spot. So is it safe to say I have a pair in the works or is it something else?

it sounds like they may have paired off. keep watching them though, for some pairs have been known to fight.

How old are they...juvies seem to school alot from my experience and then solo out later before paring up.

I havent had them for a year yet. Got them when they were young and I bought them a month apart. Im just guessing on the size but one is between 5-7 inches and the other is 3-5 inches. I did see this today the bigger one had pushed the little one so that there bottom sides were almost touching. this is the first time I have seen this happen. I know its hard to sex them but is there any way I can tell?

there is no real way, besides venting, to tell until they spawn.

I would say at that size it isn't just juvies schooling.

I think it would be great is they spawned as long as they dont spawn like cons!!!
