Hi, I am deciding on purchasing couple zebra shrimps to go along with my cherry and crystal shrimps. Does anyone here with experience know if it is compatible? I have baby cherries which I don't want to end up being food for the zebras. From the research I have done online, it looks like the zebra are a little larger than the cherry or crystal shrimps. I do know that zebra will breed with crystal and I am not worried about that.

Thanks for your input!

I haven't kept them (they are pretty rare, nice find!) but they should get along fine with the cherries. They will definately interbreed with Crystal (and also Tigers and Bees). I would think that since cherries and crystals can be housed together it should be ok for Zebras and cherries to be housed together. You may considering checking over at www.planetinverts.com to be certain, but they are not listed on the compatability chart.

They should do fine with cherries, but since crystal reds and tigers are both caridina sp., they will interbreed.
