What kind of snails?

I want a few large snails in my goldfish tank but I dont really know what I'm looking for. I DO NOOOT want snails that are going to breed and breed and breed until the tank is invested, I just watched a few large ones. Should I just look for "mystery snails" or do they breed a lot?
help me out snail lovers lol

if you put two snails into a tank, they will breed. the only real way to keep them from breeding is to keep one of a species that cannot reproduce asexualy. the mystery snales are a good example, but depending on the size of the goldies they may be lunch.

olive nerite snails will not breed in FW, but they are small enough to be gobbled up by the goldfish.

what about trapdoor snails? or columbian ramshorn? both are large and you could get one of each without worrying about reproduction.

the brigs lay their eggs above water. when you see eggs all you have to do is take them down.

i recommend brigs or haustrums if you can get them. haustrums get big enough that the goldfish can't steal all their food, and they're wonderful. check on aquabid for haustrums or their eggs. but remember they are plant-eaters, though not nearly at the rate canas are.
