my birds nest is doing much much better, but it looks more bushy than it did before, not as green. i will get pics up tomorrow to show you but this is the frag it came off of and it seems to be not as bushy http://us.st11.yimg.com/us.st.yimg.com/I/yhst-63575161494219_1977_25899484
any idea why its doing this?

Your conditions will play a role in it as well.

yeah? i noted that after i did a water change and some feeding it looked bushier than in that pic. do you know how to get it to look like that?

Are you meaning polyp extension? Have you seen it have good extension in your tank yet? How long has it been in? What are the water parameters, all that good stuff is needed for an answer.

Have the polyps extended much since the coral has been in your tank.

So the conceern is that you are seeing more polyp extension but less color?

yes
More polyp extension could mean they are trying to get food or reach the light. Less color could be they aren't gettin genough food or light as well. Could you post a photo?

as soon as i get home. i do feed every other day with DT's
Careful about feeding that often with it. Seems that would be overfeeding and cause other problems.

really DT's and my lfs say every other day... and i have my PC lights on and no MH right now and it looks a lot like the pic i hate my digi cam it sucks so bad that i am having a very hard time snapping these pics.
