I think its called a black monkey thorn rope, its from 1984 and i brought it for R450 or about $70.

Does anyone else own one?

Im not sure jane because i have only had i for 2 days, but from what i hear its not.

i had a pretty tiny one when i was younger but then not knowingly i drowned it thinking it needed more water...

I had one when I live in Japan. Some of the larger ones they had there were incredibly gorgeous.

Ya the person that sold it to me said i have to give it 2 liters of water a day and not all at once!

Are you sure it's 2 liters? That tree is awesome! I'd pay 70.
