I have a 200g tank with fake rock (would love to have gone for live rock but marine setups are quite rare and therefore extremely expensive in Ireland). Fish at the moment are 1 Regal Tang, 1 Sailfin Tang, 1 Yellow Tail Damsel, 2 Clowns, 1 Blue Cheek Goby, 1 Mandarin, 1 Firefish, 1 Yellow Tang, 1 Cleaner Wrasse and a Cleaner Shrimp. Any suggestions as to what would be a good next addition and how many more fish I could add. Cheers

If the yellow tail damsel is the yellowtail blue damsel, I'd suggest adding 4-6 more of them as they like to school.

Do you have any anemones for your clowns? If not, determine what type of clown they are and research which type of anemone they like best.

Your mandarin is likely not to survive long. I'd suggest bringing it back to the LFS and get something else. They require live copepods to survive long term and a ready supply is only available in a tank with live rock. A common scooter blenny would be a good choice for a replacement. Not a red scooter though. They have the same requirements as mandarins.

Be careful mixing similar tangs like sailfin and yellow. That can sometimes be a trouble spot. Most times not, but just be aware they could go at each other.

If you decide to add a anemone just make sure you have intense lighting like T-5's with individual reflectors or even better MH's on that size tank

Thanks for the advice guys. I ended up getting 4 Green Chromis. Great fun to watch. The Sailfin and Yellow did take a bit of getting used to each other but they seem to have chilled out to each other. I was also thinking of getting a Naso Tang. Would that cause problems with the other tangs ? The clowns are tank bred so seem to get on fine without and anenome. Cheers

I have a leather coral in my tank and my pair of clowns host in that, they love it and the female spends ages just lying in it chilling out!

Thanks again for the advice guys. Hope to get a Naso today. I'm in Southern Ireland CPD, but I've found a great LFS in Northern Ireland about an hour from where I live. Everything is 50% cheaper than the store in Dublin. If only I'd found it earlier. I paid € 75 for the Yellow Tang and could have got it for £ 21 in the North. Thats only about € 28.
