T5 vs Coralife

Okay here is the most important question okay two:

1.What is the difference between T5 and coralife linear strip hoods and Lights?

2. Which one is better and why?
 
First off it depends on which corallife fixture you are refering to, as they do make a t-5 light fixture. T-5 lights are 5/8 inch bulbs, alot like standard flourescents just smaller. Then there are T-5 ho which are high output bulbs generally with internal reflectors which increase the light in a certain direction.
